Can I bring food & drinks into the park?

Yes, Yes, Yes! Water is a must!!! You can always purchase the $2 bottles, but you can also fill up your own water bottles from the numerous water fountains located around the park.

There are restrictions that apply to bringing in "hard" coolers, and in some cases, they will send you back to your car. We always bring one or two soft-type, floppy coolers with an ice-pack for our beverages. Juices, soda, water, you name it. No alcoholic beverages, please.

Food is allowed, although they would prefer you buy their food. If you have kids, you know that little snacks are an essential throughout the day. Even for us big kids. Pretzels, peanuts, fruity packages, cookies, bags of chips, fresh fruit. Chococlate and meltables are not a good idea due to its inevitable mess.

We take sandwiches with us sometimes, and they are a welcome treat whenever you need a quick pick me up. Keep in mind that mustard keeps better than mayonnaise. Peanut butter and jelly works well, too.
