The Haunted Mansion - Get To The Ride First

Located in Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square area, you will walk down a long pathway to the front door entrance. From here, a scary Cast Member will allow you entry to a circular room.

How can you be the first people to get to the ride first? Use your knowledge of the "clock."

When you are led into the first room, walk forward as if heading towards 12:00 on a clock. Veer a bit left towards the 10 PM spot of a clock. You have now situated yourself to be first through the secret door.

As you are led into the second room, which you have probably gotten into first, veer towards the 9 PM spot - the spot where above you is a portrait of a lady hovering over a crocodile's open mouth.

The scary Cast Member will now yell at everyone to move into the dead center of the room, and he or she will circle the edge of the room to be sure you listened. Try to keep your ground nearby that 9 PM spot.

After some scary darkness and special effects, the secret door will open. Quickly maneuver out onto the ride queue.
